Misty Morning Drop Pt.2 (The Fall of Yod)

from Bat Country by Duke Buzzy

/

about

Jim "Father Yod" Baker should be some sort of cautionary tale, but somehow ended up living a full life with the people who made up his "family" (i.e. "cult"). He died shortly after a bizarre hang-gliding accident in Hawaii, and was by all accounts happy and at peace with his life and the way he went out.

And yeah, those are Aerosmith samples. Aerosmith rocks. Or they did once anyway.

lyrics

that's right
MUSIC!
when it comes to that fantastic note
where GAWD bites his own head off,
throw that fucking radio
into the tub
with me.

God didn't do that...

We fly high, but Lo-Fi
You know it. We go off the cliffside
like a million albatrosses;
don't know your name, but felt your losses.
I know the pain, trying to carry your crosses,
the snow, the rain, malevolent causes
